Golden Sprout Pu Erh (金芽熟普) is a ripe Pu Erh made exclusively from only tea buds. Produced in Menghai County, the earliest tea growing regions in China. The tea reflects a landscape shaped by both tropical and subtropical conditions. After wilting, a carefully managed wet-pile fermentation is carried out using spring water, allowing complex aromatic compounds to develop without tipping into over-fermentation.
In the cup, the infusion pours a clear ruby red with a viscous body. Woody tones anchor the profile, softened by a glutinous rice sweetness that remains steady across seven to eight brews.
